Maine Nordiques sign first group of Tenders

The first signing was Connor Androlewicz, an 18-year old Goaltender from St. Louis, Missouri. Connor has spent the last two seasons at the Holderness Prep School and has recently committed to play Division 1 NCAA Hockey at the University of Maine. Connor is 6’2”, 190 pounds and last year he posted a 3.28 Goals Against Average and .904 Save Percentage in 25 games played.

The next signing for the Nordiques was from one of the top hockey programs in the country in Shattuck St. Mary’s. Derrick Hessinger, who hails from Chesterfield, New Jersey, is a 2001 born right-shot defenseman that posted 2 goals, 23 assists in 48 games played this season. Some notable alumni from Shattuck St. Mary’s include Sidney Crosby, Jonathan Toewz, Derek Stepan, and Nathan MacKinnon.

The Nordiques managed to grab a young play-making forward with their third tender signing of the week. Emmanuel (Manny) Sanchezis 17 years old and most recently suited up for the New Hampshire Jr. Monarch of the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League. Manny finished the season with 19 goals, 18 assists for 37 points which put him at 6th in the league in scoring. His older brother, Joshua Sanchez, currently plays for the L/A Nordiques in the NA3HL.
